How can I update my billing information?

Login to your account and go to 'Edit my account'. There you can enter in a new credit or debit card of your choice.

How can I close out my account?

To close out your account you can contact one of our search specialists at 1-866-933-3584 so they may close your account and deactivate your login.

Can more than one person use an account?

No. The system restricts access to one user at a time. This is done for your protection because when your membership expires you are given the option to renew your account, thus charging your credit card to renew your membership and only the account holder should be able to do that. Please protect your user name and password.

How can I unsubscribe to discounts, newsletters and announcements?

Login to your account and go to 'Email Preferences'. There you will be able to check or uncheck specific categories you would like email alerts to. You can also unsubscribe all together if you choose.


How do I view my purchased report?

Login to your account and click on "My Order History".

Can I register outside of the continental US? is not able to accept registrations from other countries at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to offer this option in the near future.

Do I get charged if I receive "No Records Found" on a report?

How do I remove my information from your website?

Court ordered Expunged or sealed records will be removed from the site once we receive the official paperwork provided by you.

How often do I get billed?

You will be billed when you make your initial purchase for any trials or one time search reports. If you choose to purchase a membership then you will be billed the full membership amount after your trial and every 30 days, until you choose to cancel your auto billing.

I didn't receive results on my subject. Do I still get billed? gives you the ability to run Unlimited Searches for one low price with our Basic, Premium, and Elite Memberships. Sometimes it can take a few attempts to find the right person, especially if they have a common name. You might need to add a city or state where they once lived to narrow down your options. The more accurate details you provide, the easier it becomes to find a person. In some cases you may not find the subject. You will still be billed, because you are being charged for access to the site, and not for any particular set of records.

What name will appear on my credit card statement?

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo.

My attempted purchase failed. What can I expect?

If you recently received a message that a payment you made to Criminal Searches failed, but the charge is still listed on your bank statement, then your bank has placed a temporary hold on your funds. The failed payment is listed as a pending transaction, but it will not be processed. Pending transactions typically drop within 10 business days, and your bank will be able to provide more information.


What's included in my membership? provides data in the following six categories, arrests, criminal, patriot, sex offenders, traffic and wants & warrants. We do not have Federal criminal records.

What is included in a membership?

All of our memberships include criminal data, arrest records, and sex offender data. We have 3 memberships available to fit your searching needs. 'Basic' membership includes up to 15 searches a month. 'Premium' membership includes up to 25 reports a month and the 'Elite' membership includes unlimited searches monthly.

What are the benefits of having a membership?

Purchasing a single report can be costly at times and depending on your searching needs you may have to run multiple reports to gain the data you are looking for. Purchasing the ‘Elite’ membership removes those worries of limiting yourself to a certain number of searches ran. You can run unlimited reports and receive updates by only paying one flat fee.

I want to cancel the automatic renewal of my membership?

Login to your account and click on 'My Membership'. You will see a hyperlink titled 'Cancel Membership'. You will be offered discounted memberships as a onetime offer to remain a customer. At the bottom of the offer you will need to click the hyperlink titled 'Please cancel my Criminal Searches Membership.'

Can I sign up to receive Sex Offender alerts without having a paid membership?

We do not have Sex Offender alerts but you do have the ability to run a Sex Offender standalone search. You can enter in any address to see any registered Sex Offenders in that surrounding area. How do I register?

Registering is quick and easy. The fastest way is to sign up for a Membership is to click on 'Join' at the top right hand corner of the home page.

You can also run a name, choose the package that’s best for you and then register your account.

Why is registration information important?

Accurate information is important in case you ever forget your username or password. We will need to confirm your identity using the e-mail address that you provided during registration or when you last updated your account.

After we've confirmed your identity, we'll send your username to the e-mail address listed on your account. If you need a new password, you can set a new password by entering it in your Account Information panel. We provide Account Information links on our site to allow you to change or update this information at any time.

How do I update my registration information?

How do I view my purchased report?

Login to your account and click on 'My Order History'.

How are the criminal results returned?

All results are returned immediately on your screen. If a report happens to have some extensive information it may take longer to run and your page might time out. Please just login to your account and view all your reports under 'My Search History' or 'My Order History'.

Can you search for minors?

The juvenile criminal justice system focuses on rehabilitation and guards against the stigma of being labeled a criminal. To that end, juvenile criminal records are generally confidential and are not available to the general public for searching.

Is anyone notified that I am searching for them?

All searches on our website are kept confidential. The people you run searches on are not notified in anyway.
